The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will be released on May 31. Developer CD Projekt Red revealed the official release date for The Witcher 3's final DLC expansion today (missing the date leaked on Steam by just one day) and unveiled a new teaser trailer showing Geralt's return to the verdant hills of Touissant.
“Blood and Wine makes The Witcher 3 complete - it’s Geralt’s final mission. Containing more than 90 new quests, and over 30 hours of brand new adventures, it’s something that I think gamers will remember for a long time,” game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz said in a press release.
Aside from new adventure and coin-earning opportunities, Geralt will also find a new Gwent deck, new mutations for his abilities, and even a dilapidated vineyard to restore into a fitting retirement home. Semi-retirement, anyway - there's always New Game+.
