For years, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was extremely hard to find, and PS2-era copies regularly went for over $60 used. Capcom made it available digitally in 2009, but unable to let the collector’s market for the fighting game die, they released a limited-edition version with a case. No game disc. Just a case with a code for Marvel vs. Capcom 2. And now, if you want your own sealed version of this limited edition, prepare to shell out way more money than you should. If it’s just the case you’re after, you can have it looking nice on your shelf for around $60. For an empty game case that was never meant to hold a disc. What is it with this game?
