Pokemon Go has made $160 million in less than 30 days and people use it more than Facebook

Who'd have thought it, but Pokemon Go is doing rather well when it comes to the old microtransactions. Analytics firm Sensor Tower has been keeping track of the stats and despite no availability of the app in China or Brazil, global app revenue has now passed $160 million.

Stats say that despite the changes in recent weeks and removal of the tracking feature in the latest Pokemon Go update there's been no slowdown in use and people are actually still using the app more than Facebook.

A breakdown of iPhone users in the US shows that there's been no decrease in players since the app change and people are still catching 'em all more than scrolling through Mark Zuckerberg's social network. The question it all boils down to is actually very simple. Can you catch Pokemon in Facebook? No. Case closed.
