Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's competitive multiplayer mode will deactivate its futuristic cloaking device later this week. Those attending the Call of Duty XP event in Inglewood, California will be the first members of the public to play, but everybody can watch the announcement event at 10 am PDT / 6 pm BST on Friday, Sept. 2. You can catch the stream right here once it goes live.
We've already seen the single-player campaign, which makes you an actual starship captain (after the last captain dies) complete with space fighter combat, and the '80s-inspired neon fest that is Zombies in Spaceland. That just leaves Infinite Warfare's competitive multiplayer mode, which is arguably the most definitive part of any given Call of Duty game, to get its time in the spotlight.
