Watch this official PlayStation VR teardown and see which part is 'sort of shaped like a person'

Hmm, what could ease the agony for folks who are eager to get their hands on a PlayStation VR… I know! Watching a calm Sony employee disassemble the nifty-looking headset into its dozens upon dozens of tiny parts! Well, I don't know if it will actually help with the wait, but it is fascinating to watch.

Even with plenty of knowledge of the product (I assume Sony didn't just pick some random accountant to do the video) and ample editing, it still takes more than 12 minutes to do a complete PlayStation VR teardown. I'm always amazed by just how much technology VR headsets manage to stack into something that's designed to hang off your forehead: LEDs, reflectors, sensors, circuit boards, lenses. It's amazing. You can pick up your own PlayStation VR kit starting on Thursday.

Oh, and if you don't have the patience to sit through the whole video, this. This is the part that's sort of shaped like a person. I think it's the power wires for the front LEDs.
