We don't have too long to wait
The last time we checked in on Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, Square Enix delayed the game in Japan to give tri-Ace some more time to polish it up. When the announcement was made, it wasn't clear how the delay was going to affect the western release. We know now the delay didn't have as much of an impact outside of Japan, as Square Enix today confirmed the North American and European launch dates for the latest Star Ocean title.
When Integrity and Faithlessness launches on June 28 in North America and July 1 in Europe, Star Ocean fans will be able to enjoy the franchise's first new launch in seven years. Integrity and Faithlessness will allow you to take up to seven characters into battle, complete with the ability to execute multi-character combos. If you don't enjoy the English voice acting, Integrity and Faithlessness will also include the original Japanese voices complete with subtitles.
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will be available on PlayStation 4 systems in North America and Europe this summer. Japanese gamers have the option of choosing between the PlayStation 3 or PS4 when buying the sci-fi JRPG adventure, but the PS3 release won't be coming west. North American RPG fans can pick up Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness starting June 28. Europe will only have to wait three more days to be able to pick the game up on July 1.
