Releasing (or rather, unlocking) in less than 4 hours from writing, Square Enix published I Am Setsuna will finally grace the rest of the world. The Tokyo RPG Factor title has been well received by critics thus far, and we suspect initial wave of reviews from user on Steam will also e positive (after all, only the biggest fans jump in head first during pre-order phase).
If you’re interested in the game, the best deal for I Am Setsuna on PC/Steam is currently available at Green Man Gaming for 20% off at $31.99. Unlike previous GMG deals, you won’t need a coupon code to get this deal. Just sign-in or create an account and the discount will be reflected on checkout or when you add the game to cart.
Keys are being delivered instantly after purchase, and if you pre-purchase in time before the full release – you’ll still be able to receive the pre-purchase bonus of the digital sound: “The Warmth of Hope.”
We’ve wrote about this deal before when the game made its first appearance on GMG’s catalog back in May and the game has since then received various type of discount from 20% to 25% off. If you’re willing to hold off playing during release week, revisiting the game in about 2-3 months should net you a bit more savings. If your backlog is long enough, you can wait till Winter Sale and discounts will most likely be in the 30%+ ranges.
While the Collector’s Edition is also available at GMG for $49.48 – which will be bundling in the $15 value Official Sound Track Collection: Winter’s End – no further discounts are available save for the light 10% off price cut for the bundle. If you want the sound track, best bet is to simply pick up the standard edition separately with the 20% off deal, and pick up the sound track at full price. You’ll actually end up saving more money.
