Players can choose between two different modes in Never Ending Night, one offering combat against the mechanical, shadowy monsters that roam each stage, or one built around exploration and avoiding fights.
MLBY & Cain’s Story Mode has players wandering a dark world alongside a helpful mechanical butterfly. Hostile machines are all over the place, though, and through interacting with the game’s environments and exploring with care, players should be able to sneak past them or get rid of them.
Knight’s Saga Mode lets players cut their way through all of the robots they’d previously been avoiding. Using a variety of weapons and armor, players can hack and slash their way across the game’s areas. This mode also features some decision-making that will affect how the story plays out.
The two modes, which both tell different stories in the world of Never Ending Night, will be available on September 13.
