Those who have not yet sampled the delights of Rocket League have a pretty simple way of doing so for the next couple of days, courtesy of a freebie Steam weekend. From now until around the middle of Sunday (Pacific US time), the automobile-football title is free to play.
You can install it and get playing through the game’s store page. This is a fairly cunning ploy, because three days is roughly the right amount of time for a player to go through the stages of early addiction, learning how to be slightly less terrible at the game, and then desiring more.
As if to in some way cater to those people who’ll end up wanting to the buy Rocket League, it’s 40% off until 25 April.
