Resident Evil 7 (or Resident Evil VII: Biohazard) has been revealed at Sony’s E3 conference, but it’s hard to tell if it’ll be hitting PC.
It’s definitely on PS4, and it definitely supports PS VR. That’s all the information offered by the trailer, but then I remember last year’s conference where quite a lot of games (Grim Fandango Remastered, for instance) were listed as being exclusively for PlayStation, and, uh… weren’t.
I have no idea if the trailer actually showed gameplay stuff, but as there’s apparently a demo on PS4 right now, it won’t be long before we find out. Either way it looked first-person, slow-paced, and incredibly creepy… which maybe isn’t a surprise, considering rumours that someone from Konami’s cancelled P.T. / Silent Hills project is working on it.
It’s due out on 24 January, anyway. I’ll update with anything new as I hear it. The trailer’s below, I think; it was on the PlayStation YouTube channel but it got randomly removed. This looks like it, though!
