HTC has announced that the price of the HTC Vive is increasing in the UK from this Monday thanks to Brexit.

The value of the pound has dropped significantly since the Brexit vote which means that items such as electronics are seeing price increases. HTC is the latest tech company to increase and adjust their prices due to the Brexit leave vote.

HTC continuously monitors and adjusts pricing to ensure we are providing our customers with the best value possible.  Due to recent currency valuation changes and the current value of the GBP we are adjusting the price of the HTC Vive in the UK to £759 + P&P.  The adjustment will come into effect on Monday 1st August.

We are committed to providing the best possible VR experience with Vive and would like to thank our UK customers and partners for their continued support.

For the next two days, the Vive will cost UK customers £689.00 and anyone thinking about buying one now should do so ahead of the price hike. It will save £70 so it’s worth it.

It’s not a huge surprise this is happening, prices of many items will continue to increase due to the Brexit vote.
