EA has released the top three FIFA 17 players in its ongoing list of the Top 50 ranked players in the game, and Cristiano Ronaldo is now on top of the pile. A process of elimination meant that the top three had to be Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo in some order, and the Portuguese has been deemed the new number one.
None of them are slouches in the ratings department of course. Neymar gets five star skills on both feet, as well as 95 in dribbling and 91 pace. He’s a 92 overall, and classified as a LW. Meanwhile, Messi’s bearded portrait may make him look like he’s spent a night sleeping rough in a hedge, but he gets a 93 overall (RW) and has 90 for his shooting stat.
That leaves Ronaldo, who’s rated as 94 overall and has 92 pace, 92 shooting, and 91 dribbling stats. Plus five star skill moves on his stronger foot, and four star on the weaker. You can see all of the Ultimate Team card stats for the top three players at the end of the full list, below.
03. Neymar (LW 92)
02. Messi (RW 93)
01. Ronaldo (LW 94)
